We are lucky in Great Neck to have so many great playgrounds and parks to explore. From swings to slides, to climbing walls and water features, Great Neck parks, and playgrounds keep my kids active, are a great place to meet old friends (and make new friends!), and they're FREE!
I often get asked what our favorite playgrounds are, so I thought I'd share here with you my family's picks for our top five playgrounds and parks to visit in Great Neck.
Cutter Mill Park
What we love about Cutter Mill Park:
Cutter Mill Park is located near Great Neck Plaza. My kids enjoy the Spray Pad in the summer. When they were younger, they loved playing in the sand at the playground.

What we love about Steppingstone Park:
Steppingstone Park has so much to offer. They have a playground, Spray pad, wading pool, playscape, picnic area, gardens, marina, and more. They have a locker and Kayaks for rent on those nice warm days.

What we love about Kings Point Park:
If you like to go hiking Kings Point Park has more than 5 miles of trails to enjoy! In the winter you can enjoy cross-country skiing and sled riding!

Memorial Field

What we love about Memorial Field:
Memorial Field is the place to go if you like to play sports. They offer a Baseball/Softball Field, Basketball Court, Soccer Field, Tennis Courts, and Handball Courts. They also have a playground for the kids to play and have fun.

What we love about Firefighters Park:
My youngest loves the Firefighter theme this park has to offer. In the summer, the kids can cool off in the Spray pad, run around in the park, and play all year long.
